1.       Why weight loaded type accumulator is desirable for mobile equipment?                             (2)
2.       Why a lubricator should be used in pneumatic system?                                                                  (2)
3.       How can you specify an air compressor?                                                                                                               (2)
4.       What is the purpose of an air pressure regulator?                                                                             (2)

1.       With a neat sketch, explain the operation of a gas charged piston accumulator.                  (8)
2.       Explain the working principle of Double acting cylinder with neat sketch.                                               (8)
3.       Explain the working principle of Pressure Intensifier with neat sketch.                                    (8)
4.       Design and explain the working of a Regenerative circuit & Sequencing circuit.                   (4+4)
