PART – A (9 x 2 = 18 marks)
1.      Mention the advantages of Mechatronics system.
2.      List any two traditional design implemented with mechatronics design.
3.      List the stages involved in the design processes.
4.      What is the basic principle involved in mechatronics design?
5.      What are embedded systems?
6.      List down the various mechatronics elements in an automatic camera.
7.      Compare and contrast the traditional design of a watch with that of a mechatronics based digital watch.
8.      What are the advantsges of using a microprocessor in the place of a mechanical controller for a carburetor of an automobile?
9.      Identify the sensor, signal conditioner and display elements in the Bourdon pressure guage.
